Resolving to do Better

Since Paisley was born I now spend a lot of time awake when I used to be asleep. This is probably my least favorite part of having a newborn. Luckily I have my handy dandy iPhone to help me pass the time. How did I survive Huntley without an iPhone!?! So I spend night time blog stalking and reading about random people's lives that I've never met before. The other night I started to feel bad that it's been six whole weeks since Paisley started her life and besides announcing her arrival I haven't recorded any of it. So iPhone came to the rescue and I downloaded my own little blogger app. Now instead of being kind of creepy and reading about other people I now resolve to keep my own little space of the internet updated so people can read about me. When I put it that way maybe I should go private but then again maybe I'll write something someday that keeps some nursing mother entertained in the middle of the night. Here's the update of the past six weeks.

CHRIS:This guy has actually managed to stay in the state for the past six weeks. He's still left us alone at times but not for longer than a week which has been nice. What is even nicer is the 31st is his last day on call. We can now officially leave the county, hallelujah!!! At the end of the season party today he was given an award for being the "rookie firefighter of the year." We are so proud of our daddy and can't wait to spend the next 6 months getting as much time with him as we can.

PAISLEY:

This little girl pretty much spends her days accompanying me at work. She doesn't do much besides eat, sleep, and poop but what she does do she gives it a 100%. For proof of this you can tell by looking at her go from this,

to this,

to this.

Yes she has put on a few pounds the past six weeks and is turning into a cute little chubbers.

HUNTLEY:

Huntley has definitley had the most changes going on. I am constantly amazed at all the things she can do now that Paisley is the baby and she's the "girl." She's not big and she will be happy to tell you that. During the past six weeks she got a haircut.

The nice before picture where she looks scared to death and had a death grip on my hand the entire time. And the after pic where she looked like Shirley Temple and loved her haircut but was ticked off because her mom wanted to take pictures instead of giving her the phone to "bake" cupcakes.

This is Hunt picking flowers in the backyard. I had to put this picture on so I would remember her obsession with picking flowers this summer. She had cups full of petals all over our house and my poor mom only had stems and leaves in her flower gardens.

Huntley's favorite animal right now is an elephant. She loves Dumbo and was so excited when Nini took her to the zoo to see real live elephants.

Last but not least we have our one and only fish of the season. Daddy was gone all summer and mom was preggers so poor Hunt had to settle with catching fish out of a tub at Cabela's. Lame I know but at least they bait the hook and clean the fish for you too.

So there you have it, an update on the Harvey's and lots more to come!!!
