Monday Pais was on a rainbow kick. She wanted to read books with rainbows in them, watch shows about rainbows, and so I figured we'd just stick with the rainbow theme all day.
We made rainbows in Ziploc bags and used celery to paint rainbows on plates.
She was kind enough to carry the theme on through the middle of the night and with a rainbow of projectile vomit. That lead to Tuesday being a sleep on mom all day kind of day.
Wednesday this little lost boy looked pretty adorable eating his breakfast.
Friday Mav was the puzzle master at the library.
Pais impressed the librarians with the amount of books she was able to carry at one time. That pile kept us busy the rest of the day.
Sunshine makes me want to smile real big too.
I was even a nice mom and played "horse." I don't know why I dread that game so much. The kids laugh hysterically and then I get a bonus work out.
Huntley got home from school and we used marshmallows as our paint brushes. That was a bad idea. Mav ended up with green lipstick.
Our Friday night consisted of making 70 pounds of deer and bear sausage and cleaning the kitchen. Now that was fun times.
Saturday morning Link came to play. I think we're all going to be really sad when his mom finishes her EMT class.
I got my baby snuggles in and loved every minute of it.
Even if it was sitting on the toilet while Mav took a bath.
Our weather has turned back to freezing so Chris had the brilliant idea of turning the downstairs hallway into an archery range.
I didn't know how much the girls would really shoot when we bought them their bow but they are as obsessed as their dad is.
