2013 Thankful {day 13}

I'm thankful that after five really long months I finally got to workout today.  Yes it was a really lame workout I got at physical therapy but it was something.  Which means that someday soon I'll be back to normal and can finally start hiking like I used to.  The girls loved the fact they could do the entire workout with me and could do it a lot better than I could.  I loved the fact that some of the exercises were on the floor which immediately translates to dog pile on mom.  I've missed working out with my little buddies.

2013 Thankful {day 12}

I'm thankful for helpful people.  Today the girls and I cleaned up the garden and took it to the green waste in Grandpa's truck.  They got to ride in the front seat and thought that was pretty cool.  Once we got there immediately an older gentleman saw us and came and helped unload the truck.  It made my day and I'm extremely thankful for his help.

2013 Thankful {day 11}

I am thankful for talking time and Hunt's amazing speech teachers.  They help so much in figuring out how to help Huntley speak better and doing it in a fun way.  Both of us look forward to Monday and the fun things we get to do.  The only thing that would make it better would be if it was later.  Having to get out the door by 8:30 makes for a crazy morning.

2013 Thankful {day 10}

I'm thankful Huntley was brave and said her part in the primary program yesterday.  We practiced constantly the past two weeks and she did awesome. I especially loved the way she days "be high bumble" instead of "be though humble."  Cutest thing ever!

2013 Thankful {day 9}

I'm thankful for days full of hard work.  Today we spent the entire day outside cleaning up our yard, riding bikes, and jumping on the trampoline.  The girls played lots but still managed to rake, sweep, and spend countless minutes unsuccessfully trying  to push the wheelbarrow.  Our yard looks much better now and two little girls crashed in bed really fast tonight.

2013 Thankful {day 8}

I'm thankful for FaceTime.  I love that we can still see Chris and the girls can actually carry on a normal conversation with their dad even if it does make them a little crazy.  I kind of wonder if they are showing off for him or just enjoy watching themselves on the screen.  Either way we are thankful for FaceTime and how it allows us to "spend" time together as a family when Chris is away.

2013 Thankful {day 7}

I'm thankful leaves go crunch and that the simple act of walking through them can entertain little girls for quite a long time.
