Easter x's 4

We celebrated Easter on four separate occasions at our house this year. To start off the festivities we went to the Nelson's for their neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. Huntley was in to those eggs. She took off like a champ and picked up 5 eggs, double from the 2 I put in her basket last year which she promptly removed. Russell on the other hand, he wasn't really into the whole egg finding thing.
He decided he'd much rather play on a Squirrell then pick up pieces of plastic.

Huntley followed him over to the toys but spent the whole time staring at everything. Yep she takes after her momma and is a wimpy girl but there is nothing wrong with being cautious.

Chris on the other hand jumped right on the toys and could have stayed at the park all night.

Afterwards we went back to Russell's house and discovered that there is stuff inside the eggs and we better hurry up and eat it all as quick as we can. Kristi made us a wonderful dinner that was interrupted by the down side of a sugar rush and if we would have taken a picture it would have been similar to Russell looking for eggs. Overall it was a blast and we are glad they invited us!
Friday the Easter Bunny sent us a package all the way from California. It was full of all sorts of goodies and things to love.

Saturday we woke up and the Easter Bunny had came again. He hid eggs all over our house that Huntley never bothered to find, maybe they weren't hidden hard enough? She was distracted by the legos and firetruck in her basket.
That afternoon we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for another egg hunt and to roast hot dogs. The below picture is pretty crappy of the fam but I love Joshy's face and Huntley's little bum in the background.
Huntley again found 5 eggs and then quit so she could play in the dirt.
Last but not least was the actual Easter day. We spent the day relaxing and listening to Conference and of course eating our favorite dinner of the year. Conference is my favorite Sunday, yes I love the spiritual uplift, but also because it's the only Sunday my dad doesn't have meetings and spends the day cooking. Conference dinner is bigger and better than Thanksgiving at our house and this year it definitley didn't disappoint, thanks Dad!

Jess, I can't believe how big she is getting. She's so cute! AND it's okay to be causious, us whimpy girls have to think twice before we do something that will make us barf or pee our pants.
