Chris had an archery elk tag this year in Utah and originally we didn't plan on going. After finding out Hunt wouldn't start school until after Labor Day we figured we might as well go down and have one last hurrah before school. As soon as we got to town our first stop was Grandpa Phillips garden.

This trip we tried something new and slept at Josh and Kenzies which was so fun. Josh used his awesome ovens to throw a big pizza party and we spent nights reliving our childhood and watching old movies. Plus being in the middle of the Davis compound with millions of children around was awesome for my girls who have gotten used to a life with antelope as your companions.
The highlight of our trip was going out to Red Creek with my dad and grandpa and spending the day fishing. Saturdays fishing at that lake are some of my best memories growing up and now I have one there with my own kids.
Our last day there Hunt informed my mom that they wouldn't be together on her birthday and she needed to throw her a party. So with what little time she had my mom hurried and baked a cake and gave the girls presents of Elsa and Anna dresses. They were in heaven.
The best part of the trip was it was so much fun we were exhausted by the time we got to come home. Which made it really nice for all of us when Paisley slept the majority of the drive. Potty training her the week before we were going to spend six hours in the car wasn't the smartest thing.
