Winter in Yellowstone

The goats weren't the only thing Chris surprised me with for our anniversary.  He took the whole family on a mini vacation.
Yellowstone is closed during the winter except for a small portion two hours away from our house.  We drove up on Friday night and stayed at a hotel just outside the park.  Hotels and pools are quite possibly two of the girls favorite things.
Mav on the other hand wasn't old enough to know of the joys of these such things and decided to spend lots of quality time with me during the night taking it all in.  Hence why the next day we really have hardly any pictures of our time in the park even though it was probably one of the best trips we've had.  We saw so many animals and hardly any people were there.
We originally had planned on turning on a movie for the girls when they got bored but we didn't even have to use it.  Buffalo were in view at all times.  It was like being in a drive through zoo.  Which I guess that's kind of what Yellowstone is.
I think we will spend more time going to the zoo in the winter, just when Mav gets a little older so I don't have to spend so much time watching the back of my eyelids and can enjoy it more.
