Well the whole sleeping through the night was a one time deal. Last night we were back to every few hours again, she just must miss me too much. I guess I can't complain because who could be mad at this little cutie and the fact that she made me a mother. I love you Huntley!!!

Ahhhhhh... (this is a sigh of relief)
After 8 months, 1 week, and 2 days Huntley finally slept through the night. (Now if only I could learn to sleep without having to get up and check on her every two hours.)

Change of Heart
The first time we took Huntley fishing this is what happened:
She was one unhappy baby and we wondered what we were going to do because fishing is a big part of our lives. Well 8 months have gone by and we decided we would try it again.
I think things went a little better and we have a future fisherwoman in the making. Now Chris thinks we need to buy her a flyrod. I'm still debating if it actually would be for Huntley or just a way to get more toys for him. Oh well at least she had a change of heart and likes fish now.

Welcome Back!!!

Welcome home Elder Josh!!! We had a great time at the airport yesterday picking up Josh from his mission to Puerto Rico. Josh sent us all orange Netherland jerseys to wear and we sure stood out in the crowd of welcoming families. Unfortunately the battery died on my camera and all I got were these two pics. Now we get to have a fun filled weekend of Huntley getting to know her Uncle Josh, we can't wait!

Huntley says
Huntley can't speak. Well don't tell her that because she talks all day long it just isn't understandable. Anyways last night I had to work so Chris took her with him to his search and rescue training. While they were there Huntley got to play with Osage, the search and rescue bloodhound. She loved the dog and thought it was the coolest thing, go figure because my little sisters shitzu scares her to death. I guess Huntley talked to the dog all night and whenever she would get Osage to make noises she would crack up like it was the greatest thing. This morning as I was getting her dressed and she was babbling away about something very important I asked her if she played with the puppy last night. She looked at me and said "Dog, woof woof" and then continued on with whatever else she had been babbling about before. So now the past eight hours I've been trying to get her to say it again but all we get is Huntley language, oh well someday I'll understand her.

Ode to No Pudge
The past few months I have been working really hard to get rid of the extra pounds from Huntley, more like the extra pounds I gained after giving birth to Huntley and then proceeding to eat everything in sight. Well I happened upon these wonderful FAT FREE brownies that are to die for. (Actually my mom found them years ago and eats them all the time but now that I'm being healthy I decided to eat them too.) I finally talked Chris into trying them and he couldn't believe how good they were either. That was a mistake because now he's going to eat them and I won't be able to hog them all to myself. Since they are probably number three on my list of loves, 1-Chris, 2-Huntley, 3-No Pudge Brownies, I had to dedicate a post to these wonderful little treats that I think about all day and devour at night, oh how I love you No Pudge Brownies.Friday, April 17, 2009
