2017-4

Pais is on a craft kick.
All day long she wants to craft, craft, craft.  And she's even figured out how pinterest works.
To say our house is decorated for Valentines day would be an understatement.
The antelope have migrated back to our neck of the woods.
So now Mav screams "antelope" all day long.  It's adorable.
Occasionally I'm able to do a few chores, thanks to the ipad.
Wednesday we went to books and babies at the library.  Mav wasn't a fan like he used to be.
And we stopped off at the post office on the way home and had to take a picture of my little babies on the little bench.
We also went to the Nearly New and Mav bought a sandwich bag full of hot wheels for 50 cents.
They've now replaced his animals in the barn.
Thursday was the little man's birthday!!!
He had the best birthday ever, going to daycare and getting his two year old shots.  I'll probably feel bad about that the rest of my life but we did try and make it up to him by going to the hotsprings that night.
Say Hello to the most unphotogenic family ever.
This cat lives at the hot springs and hates when the kids always want to pet it.  You think it would learn Thursday night kids get in free and to hide but it's always there acting annoyed by our presence.  Along with all the other adults at the hot springs but I feel the same way about them as I do the cat.
Since Mav's two and all now, he decided he needed to take over making breakfast.
And even decided to try his hand out at strawberry jam.
Friday was the big birthday party.
Apparently he doesn't like all of the attention on himself.
He does like cake and icecream though.
I think his favorite present has been his drill.  Actually I have no idea but I'm just going to say that.
Although the things he does with his drill are a little inappropriate.
Saturday was in the high 30's and beautiful.  We spent the morning in VC at the ice rink.
Mav seriously loves sledding and going up the biggest, fastest hill you can find.  I have high hopes that next year will involve him on skis.

 We tried playing broomball.
Pa wasn't able to find a pair of skates that fit so he was obviously winning.  Hunt decided she was ditching her skates too.

Who would have thought we'd be playing on a swing set in January.

Sunday my little primary class looked so adorable sitting in their seats that I had to take a picture.
Right after that they ate me alive.  Sunbeams :)

2017-3

This week started off with a holiday, which means it was a good week.  We pulled out the Valentine's decorations and got to play valentine's day bingo.
I think the theme for this week was these three kids having to play together at all times.
Pais learned about inventors at school and got to make her very own invention.
Wednesday was activity day's at our house.  We made fruit smoothies, that were a big hit, and healthy cookies, that weren't so much of a hit.
 Mav took his first selfie.
The three amigos were at it again.  They learned if they are playing together happily sometimes it leads to a later bed time.
Isn't it funny how when you start transitioning into winter and 50 degrees feels like you are going to freeze and die, then a few months later you have a nice day with a high of 35 and you go outside and play because it feels so warm.  Yeah that day was Friday.
We went out and said hi to Rookie and then came back inside and pretended to be a cowboy.
Friday night was pizza and a movie night.
And Saturday these two had to be matchy-matchy from head to toe.  I hope they always stay best buds.

2017-2

We started this week off with me going from one job to the next.  Hunt was a good sport and hung out with me and left cute little notes all over.
Tuesday was the best day ever.  Huntley's first school ski trip and I got to chaperone.  Yes a person who never skied was chaperoning children who had never skied, sounds like a disaster in the making.
Luckily the kids started the day off with lessons and since I have no shame I joined in too.

I don't want to brag, but we seriously rocked at ski lessons.  We only had to go up the magic carpet twice before we were advanced to the chair lift.
Hunt only lost a ski once on the lift but other than that we were awesome.
And now we both have a new hobby we just have to figure out how to finance.

We only have 15 kids in our primary and four of them are in Hunt's class.  I had a blast racing all of them down the hill.
Wednesday it was time for these two little's to have a snow day of their own.
I pulled them around in the sled, Pais made snow angels and Mav helped me shovel the porch.

Notice the snowman in the background.  Pais kept trying to make an actual snowman but the snow wouldn't pack.  She finally gave up and stuck the fake one from the porch out on the lawn.
Afterwards they got to come in and warm up in a bubblebath.
Wednesday Huntley was invited to an activity at one of her friend's churches.  Pais wanted to tag along to but got bored fast and sat in the foyer playing with k'nex.  Mav was his typical self and ran around and terrorized their church too.
After the girls go to bed is my favorite time to spend with Mav.  He turns into the sweetest, cuddliest, little boy that ever lived.  Except when he actually really is tired and hides from me and goes to sleep.
Friday we went to the library.  This kid is such a goober.
Saturday Pais was sick so Hunt spent the day playing with Mav.  He loved having all of her attention.
And we ended the week off with this little gem.  He's adorable.
