Please Help?

Huntley has many soft toys that she likes to play with. On all of these toys they say in order to clean them wipe down with a damp rag. Which I do, but then I think about all of the places her toys have been and the floors they have been on and wiping down with a damp cloth just doesn't seem like that will cut it to me. (Most of the time when playing with toys they are in her mouth.) So as I was cleaning the kitchen yesterday and spraying down the garbage container with lysol I figured hey I'll just spray her toys too. After I did it I then questioned if that was really a great idea because will she end up sucking the lysol off of the toys. Today I decided I would put them in the washing machine anyways. I just pulled them out and they still smell like lysol. Now I've been searching the internet to know if lysol is going to poison her or not. They lysol site, although very informative about babies and germs, has nothing on the matter and doesn't even have a search feature to look for it specifically. The can only talks about it being hazardous to the eyes. Now to the question, Does anybody know if it is okay for her to play with her lysol sprayed, run through the washing machine twice toys or am I going to have to go by some new loveys?

I love vacations!!!

Last week we took advantage of some really great off season deals and took off to Jackson Hole for a few days. Although now I'm drowning in laundry and housework, it was definitley worth it. We had a lot of fun so I thought I would just post each of our favorite things about the trip.
Huntley loved the king size bed. She layed there and played for hours and loved the fact she could roll all over. Being stuck in her car seat all morning while driving there also probably made the bed even better.

Chris's favorite part was that we found big foot. For all who don't know Chris has a slight obsession with the mythical creature, he even has his own big foot call he uses to try and lure the guy in. You know all of those wierd shows on the discovery channel about Sasquatch, yes we have them all recorded. Imagine our suprise when we found him hanging out in Jackson.Last but not least, my favorite part was the chance to take a break away from everyday life and spend time with my family. I love these two!!!

Future Michelin Man

Lately Huntley has been really excited to use her feet as a new toy. Although she only realizes they exist when she doesn't have any pants on. The other day after her bath I left her naked so I could get some pictures of her playing with her feet. I told Chris about them so he put them on the computer to check them out and realized our daughter looks identical to the Michelin Man. Yes I know it's awful to be putting naked pictures of baby on the internet for the world to see but I just wanted to show off why I'm going to be getting some pretty awesome toned arms in the next few months.

Poor Thing

Huntley is having a bad week!!!

What she has gone through:
  • pink eye
  • cutting her first tooth
  • more than 8 hours with 3 different babysitters
  • little sleep (which leads to zombie mommy)

I wish I could tell her it was going to get better but the second tooth is fighting its way through and shots are coming up next week. What a poor picked on little girl!

All in a days Work

For the most part Chris spends his days on the river taking people fishing. Occasionally he has to do a few other things, like rescue poor sunken boats. Funny how it's always the new shiny boats that end up bottom up.

In order to get the boat out it takes a little swimming and a whole lot of pulling, but it eventually comes free. Now that the boat is free it would be a great time to celebrate, other than the fact my poor hubby had to row it out the remaining five miles with water up to his knees. Personally I think this would be the worst day of work ever but he came home with a big ol' smile on his pretty face. Sometimes he makes me wonder.

Snow Day

Huntley had her first snowmobile ride this Monday. The whole time she was outside she had this same expression. No squeals of delight, no screams of terror, no emotion whatsoever, nothing! I guess I should be grateful that she didn't hate the experience but some sort of facial expression would have been nice.

Happy Valentines Day!!!

The holiday of love is here and boy do I love this little girl. I love her cute little smiles, giggles, and the joy she gets in figuring out how the world works. I also really love the fact her Auntie Mera is coming to visit so her Daddy and I can go out to dinner alone. Gotta love babysitters!
