Back to Work
I survived my first week back at work. Ever since Huntley was born I have been dreading this week. Luckily it wasn't as bad as I had been anticipating. During the winter Chris and I have our schedules so that one of us will be able to stay home with Huntley at all times but this weekend Chris had trips so I needed to find a babysitter. Luckily my mom was willing to come stay, with her which helped a ton. I didn't have to cry as much but let me tell you there have been a lot of tears shed over this matter. I'd much rather be a stay at home mom but since I'm the one with the benefits it wasn't going to be possible. Fortunately I have a great place to work. I'd planned on Huntley having to have bottles while I was gone but I have the best boss. Since I live right next to my work, my mom was able to bring her up every time she was hungry and my boss would cover my position. So now I get to see my little girl all day long while I'm working. Since winter is coming things also slow down a lot and there isn't as many hours. I was asked if it would be all right if I cut back on my hours, of course!!! So now I'm only going to have to work about 16 hours a week. I'm so glad everything has worked out so well and I'll pretty much still get to be with Huntley all of the time. Plus it's only a few more years until Chris is done with school and I can become a full time mommy!

Leaving on a Jet Plane
Wow, it has been forever since I last posted something! Not a whole lot has been happening in our lives, just the basic day to day things. We did fly to California today to spend a week with Chris's family. I've been really nervous about taking Huntley on the plane. The whole hour before we boarded she screamed. Everyone in the terminal was giving us dirty looks and probably thinking this is going to be the worst flight ever. She was so bad the ladies that were in charge of boarding came and asked us where we were sitting, in the middle, and could they please change our seats. Then they politely said it was okay if we were the last ones on the plane. I was about to have a nervous break down and was ready to change my mind and drive instead, then a miracle happened. We boarded the plane and she immediately fell asleep and slept the whole flight. It was wonderful, other than the fact we were the last seats, right next to the restroom. You would think an hour and a half flight you could hold it but that's not the case. There was constantly someone in the bathroom. At least we survived and now we can enjoy our vacation.
I promise we do have pictures where she is not screaming.

Must love Fish
Chris and I decided it was about time Huntley saw her first fish. Since the salmon run is going on near our house we decided it was the perfect opportunity. We loaded her up in the truck and drove to Sheep Creek. Well as soon as we got there Huntley started to cry. We tried showing her the fish and she just screamed. So I ended up feeding her in the truck while Chris enjoyed the fish. Of course she cried because she was hungry, but I'm still worried that she might be telling us she doesn't like fish. Hopefully that is not the case because with a fishing guide for a dad she has no choice. I guess we'll just have to try it again when we are sure that her belly is full.
